About the project: It's a "big bright beautiful world" for everyone's favorite ogre in SHREK THE MUSICAL JR., based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and hit Broadway musical. In a faraway kingdom, the hermit ogre Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale creatures: outlaws who've been cast off by Farquaad, a tiny ruler with big ambitions. Shrek and wise-cracking Donkey travel to Duloc to confront Farquaad where they are handed a task - rescue feisty Princess Fiona from the Dragon-guarded tower and the swamp will be theirs. But a fairy tale wouldn't be complete without unexpected twists and turns along the way.
