Teens Needed for Fall Production of the Musical "Flappers"

Teen performers wanted for “Flappers.” Full audition details are available below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Please note: a production fee applies. A parent or guardian is welcome to stay for the entire audition, and there are always two adults in the room. WHAT TO PREPARE: SING 32 BARS About a minute and 45 seconds of a song in an appropriate style of your choice. Bring a backing track. No a cappella. If you have never cut 32 bars before, say so when you request your time, and the directors will help you pick something. COME READY TO MOVE There is a short dance call during your audition. Wear clothes and shoes you can move in. You do not need dance training. BRING A HEADSHOT A clear photo of your face is all the directors need. A professional headshot is not required. A phone photo in good light is fine. BRING YOUR CONFLICTS Write down every rehearsal date through October 25 that you already know you will miss. Conflicts do not disqualify you. Surprises after casting are what cause problems. Rehearsals are Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, about nine hours a week through October 25. If you are interested, please apply.
