About the project: "Unbroken: Transforming Hurt into Hope", a dramatic project about the wounds we carry, the ways we try to numb them, and the possibility of healing. Episode 1, “The Lost Sheep,” follows 18-year-old Tarick, a young man struggling with anger, rejection, and the lasting effects of growing up in an abusive home. As the pain of his father's legacy threatens to shape his future, Tarick finds himself caught between the streets and the possibility of a different life. Meanwhile, his mother Kristine struggles to protect her family while confronting wounds of her own, and his younger brother Jamal quietly bears witness to it all. Through family conflict, mentorship, faith, and an unexpected encounter with someone who sees beyond his anger, Tarick is challenged to confront the hurt beneath his behavior and discover that being wounded does not mean he has to remain broken.
