Wolfe’s provocative and darkly funny exploration of Black identity. No seats. No stage. No boundaries. The Colored Museum places you inside the story as history, satire, and transformation unfold around you. Board Git on Board, where an airline hostess welcomes passengers onto a “celebrity slave ship.” Watch Cookin’ with Aunt Ethel, where a mammy figure hosts a biting comedic cooking show. Soldier with a Secret delivers a chilling monologue from a war-weary soldier, while The Party erupts into a surreal celebration of historical and pop culture icons.
