Talent Needed for "The Ordeal"
Casting "The Ordeal," an independent Asian short film. Logline: Taron is a young Catholic student mourning the loss of his younger sister. After an ancient devil, Ansel, offers him a bloody ordeal to see his sister again, Taron backs out after his first kill, and Ansel scolds him for it, leading to a night of terrifying consequences. We are looking for Asian-specific actors of various ages who love Austin and love filmmaking and aren’t afraid of a spooky time. Additional info: Shooting Dates: Nov 20th-23rd. Location: Austin, TX.

Young, sharp-tongued, but is rebellious and doesn't have a strong relationship with Taron. Shows an aggressive side in flashbacks that leads to a fateful event. She becomes a haunting figure for her grieving family, especially for Taron. Parent/guardian must be present during the duration of shooting, and production will be required to follow the guideline of limited shooting hours for the minor. Production will also be working with a stunt coordinator to ensure maximum safety.
