Additional info: Directors will begin with prepared monologues (not required but welcomed) and cold readings from the script. Please be on time and prepared to stay until auditions are complete. Young George Bailey is smart, ambitious, thoughtful, carrying and someone who fights for what he believes in. A dreamer! Peter Jr is the oldest of George and Mary Bailey and the protector of his family when dad is at work.
Young Harry is George’s kid brother who looks up to George and just wants to be part of the gang. Tommy is the youngest son of George and Mary Bailey.
Young Mary is a thoughtful girl-next door who is so in love with George Bailey but he doesn’t notice her. Zuzu is the youngest child of George and Mary and will melt everyone’s heart. If Zuzu is cast young, I will split the roles of Mary and Zuzu.
Young Violet is a sassy, flirty little girl who likes dressing nice and getting everyone’s attention. Janie is the oldest daughter of George and Mary Bailey who looks after the other kids and plays the piano and sings.
