About the project: The story is a natural for a stage adaptation: the saga of George Bailey, the Everyman from the small town of Bedford Falls, whose dreams of escape and adventure have been quashed by family obligation and civic duty, whose guardian angel has to descent on Christmas Eve to save him from despair and to remind him—by showing him what the world would have been like had he never been born—that his has been, after all, a wonderful life. Additional info: Be prepared to stay at auditions so you can do scenes with others who are also auditioning. There might be some waiting at times so please wear comfortable clothing and something to drink. Rehearsal and Performance dates are as follows: September 25, 26, 28 October 5, 6, 8, 12, 13, 20, 22, 23, 26, 27, 29 November 2, 3, 6, 9, 10, 13, 16, 17, 20, 23, 24, 30 December 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (Load- in day), 6 (Lighting day) TECH WEEK – December 7, 8, 10 PERFORMANCES: December 11 (10 am student performance) & 7 pm December 12, 2 pm & 7 pm December 13, 2 pm If you are interested, please apply.
