Singing Audition for "A Christmas Carol" Play

“A Christmas Carol” is seeking singers for the play. Check out the information below. About the project: Few stories endure like A Christmas Carol. This richly theatrical adaptation captures the wonder, warmth, and transformation at the heart of Dickens’ timeless tale. With evocative scenery and unforgettable ghostly visits, it’s a holiday experience that has become a cherished tradition—and one audiences won’t want to miss while it’s on stage. Additional info: (Auditions may run as late as 9 pm, but you must arrive before 8 pm) Callbacks (if needed or by invitation): Saturday, October 3, from 5:00-8:00 pm Auditions will consist of reading from sides. Be prepared to sing a few lines of your favorite, festive song. Some characters will have prominent singing roles; others will not. Everyone will be part of a choir during the show. Bring your Christmas cheer! Please have your calendar with you and be prepared to list all potential conflicts for the rehearsal and performance period. The first read-through will be held Monday, October 12, from 6:30-10:00 pm. Rehearsals will be held Monday-Friday from 6:30-9:30 pm, with Saturday and Sunday rehearsals on an “as needed” basis. There will be no rehearsals on Halloween (October 31) and Thanksgiving (November 26-27). Not everyone will be called to each rehearsal, but it is important to list all conflict dates and times to help prepare the rehearsal schedule as quickly as possible. Likewise, please understand that with a cast of this size, the directors cannot guarantee special time-off requests unless it is an emergency.
