Casting call for young actors ages 9-14 for “Rot House”. See the details below. LOGLINE: When his/her new friends dare him/her to enter the haunted house in their neighborhood, Daniel discovers the dark truth about the old man who lives inside. STORY: The only African-American child among his white friends, DANIEL is desperate to fit in. When the children dare him to explore the "Rot House," a fabled dark, dilapidated shack, he bravely accepts the task. What he finds is not quite a ghost nor a monster, but a force of pure evil. Daniel has entered the home of a seemingly blind and immortal CONFEDERATE SOLDIER, and must escape the hidden darkness of his homeland before it's too late. Rate: Non-Union and Unpaid.
