"The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" Play Needs Kids

About the project: Synopsis: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe follows four siblings: Lucy, Edmund, Susan, and Peter Pevensie. Evacuated from wartime London to the countryside, the children are exploring their new surroundings when Lucy discovers a magical wardrobe leading to Narnia, a land trapped in perpetual winter by the tyrannical White Witch. As audience members journey alongside the children through Downtown Statesville, they will encounter Mr. Tumnus the faun, brave beavers, and fantastical beings resisting the Witch's icy rule. Edmund, tempted by promises of power, betrays his siblings but soon realizes the consequences of his choices. Guided by the noble lion Aslan, the true King of Narnia, the siblings are drawn into an epic struggle of courage, loyalty, and redemption. This unique walking tour adaptation blends immersive storytelling with heartfelt performances, bringing the magical themes of bravery, sacrifice, and hope to life all around you. Additional info: Show Dates: December 10 through 12, and December 17 through 19, 2026. Everyone is invited to audition. This show offers roles for children, teens, and adults to share a beloved story of courage, friendship, sacrifice, and hope. No experience necessary and All skill levels are welcome. Inclusive casting: Families are encouraged to audition together. Performers of all ethnicities, backgrounds, and identities are warmly invited to audition. What to Expect at Auditions: Auditions will consist of reading scenes directly from the script. No prepared monologue is required.
