Kids and Teens Needed for "A Christmas Story" Show
Young actors needed for "A Christmas Story." Check out the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Set in 1940s Indiana, this musical brings Ralphie Parker, his family, friends, teachers, and the infamous leg lamp to life onstage. Filled with memorable characters, catchy music, plenty of laughs, and all the nostalgia of the classic Christmas story, this is the perfect show to kick off the holiday season! Additional info: Adults and children are encouraged to attend. This production will need numerous child actors in our cast. There is no fee for our younger actors to participate. Please prepare one minute of an uptempo Broadway song or Christmas Carol. Please provide musical accompaniment thru your phone, ipad, etc. There is a bluetooth speaker available. Please utilize the attached sides from the script to familiarize yourself with the script. Auditionees will participate in readings from the script. There is no need to memorize the sides. Rehearsals will be Mondays - Thursdays 6:30-8:30pm and Sundays 3-6pm starting October 5th. Actors will only need to attend rehearsals they are called for. We are happy to work with actors on their schedules. Please do not let minor scheduling issues deter you from auditioning.
