Seeking Teens for "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee"

Looking for performers ages 16 and up for "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee". Please see the details below. About the project: An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vies for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life-unaffirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves a champion! At least the losers get a juice box. Additional info: Whether you’re a champion speller or simply great at pretending to be one, directors want to see you at auditions! Please prepare a song from the show. Accompaniment will be provided. Come ready to have fun, take some chances, and show what you’ve got! The show will run November 12-14. If interested, please apply.
