A weary business traveller unexpectedly finds himself spending the night at an elegant hotel. After being warned by the hotel manager to stay away from the mysterious Room 309, he begins hearing the sound of a woman crying from behind its locked door. Curiosity eventually draws him to the room’s keyhole—and to an encounter that blurs grief, memory, nightmare and the supernatural. ROOM 309 is an atmospheric, performance-driven period film built around restrained psychological tension, escalating dread and a haunting supernatural conclusion. Rate: This is a paid ACTRA production operating under the ACTRA Indie Production (AIP) Agreement. Performers will be engaged and compensated under the approved AIP terms applicable to their performer classification and booking. Read-Through/Rehearsal: One scheduled session; date/time to be confirmed and administered under applicable. Submission Deadline: August 28, 2026. Applicants must disclose all known conflicts for September 21–23, 2026. Production is scheduled for afternoon/evening work, approximately 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. Weekday availability is required. Evening availability is required. Performers must be available for every production day required by their role.
