"Elf" The Musical Jr. Seeking Kids and Teens

Young actors ages 6-18 needed for "Elf" The Musical Jr. See the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Buddy decides to change the outlook and behavior of his new family and bring the true meaning of Christmas back into New York City. Along the way, he discovers friendship, romance, and his true identity. Elf JR is a modern-day holiday classic that aims to spread Christmas cheer for all to hear! Additional info: Please note: a production fee applies. Rehearsals will be held after school Mon-Thu from the end of September to early December. *Occasional Saturdays will be scheduled for choreography and longer tech rehearsals. Performance dates are - December 4th @ 7pm - December 5th @ 3pm & 7pm - December 6th @ 3pm ALL cast members must be present for rehearsals Nov 16-21 & the week of the show. WHAT TO PREPARE: 45 sec-1 min of a Christmas/Holiday song of your choice that showcases your vocal talents. Karaoke track on a device of your choice (phone, iPad, etc.). Please make sure you are cued to the exact spot you would like to start, or screen record from YouTube and save to your camera roll / gallery for quick access. You may also sing a cappella. Please also prepare to read one of the attached excerpts from the script. Be prepared with appropriate attire and shoes. Callbacks will be sent via email. Please see the attachment for details.
