Personality: Confident, witty, observant, mysterious, and calm. Hermes is the storyteller and guide. He feels like someone who's seen this story happen many times before. He knows how it ends, but he still believes the story is worth telling. What drives him: Telling the story and keeping hope alive. Biggest strength: He understands people and sees the bigger picture.
Personality: Kind, imaginative, hopeful, innocent, and a little oblivious. Orpheus lives in his own world. He believes that if he can finish his song, he can bring spring back and make everything better. He doesn't always understand why Eurydice is worried about practical things because he believes so strongly in hope. What drives him: Love, music, and hope.
Personality: Independent, guarded, realistic, and determined. Eurydice has learned not to rely on other people because she’s had to take care of herself. She loves Orpheus, but she doesn’t fully trust that love can keep her safe. She is practical where Orpheus is idealistic. What drives her: Survival and security. Biggest fear: Being hungry, alone, or abandoned.
Personality: Charismatic, rebellious, funny, emotional, and free-spirited. Persephone brings warmth and life to the world, but underneath her fun personality, she's hurting. She misses the way things used to be with Hades and feels trapped by what their relationship has become. What drives her: Freedom, joy, and her love for Hades. Biggest fear: Losing herself and being trapped.
Personality: Powerful, intimidating, controlling, lonely, and complicated. Hades isn't simply a "villain." He genuinely loves Persephone, but he's afraid of losing her. That fear makes him controlling. He also wants to build a world where nothing can be taken away from him. What drives him: Power, security, and his love for Persephone. Biggest fear: Losing control and being abandoned. Character journey: He has to confront the fact that trying to possess someone isn't the same as loving them.
