Photo/Print Project "Little Adults" Seeks Kids
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Casting kids ages 3-9 for a Photo/Print Project "Little Adults". See the details below. Rate: Non-Union. This is an unpaid collaboration. In exchange, your family will receive all edited images from the shoot. Additional information: Looking for children aged 3–9 and their families to take part in Little Adults, a lifestyle portrait series exploring the funny, tender, and imaginative ways children see the adult world. In each session, a child may borrow a parent’s real work clothing or everyday work items—an oversized blazer, apron, scrubs, work vest, gardening gloves, camera bag, work bag, headphones, clipboard, or tool belt—and playfully imagine what it might feel like to do their parent’s job. Directors are not after perfect poses or trained models. They want curiosity, personality, and those moments when a kid is so focused on being grown-up that they forget the camera's there. This project works best as a collaboration with parents. Directors would love to hear about your work, the things your child notices or imitates about your daily routine, and any spaces or objects that help tell your family’s story. They can photograph at home office, or, where appropriate, in a parent’s workplace. For example, this could be a private office, studio, workshop, restaurant, salon, shop, creative workspace, or another meaningful everyday environment. If you work in a setting such as an office, lab, fire hall, clinic, studio, workshop, or another meaningful professional space, we would be excited to explore photographing your child there. Families of all backgrounds, professions, and family structures are welcome. Shoot/Performance Date(s) in August. Shoot/Performance Location(s) TBC. Submission Deadline August 27, 2026. When applying, please submit your work and include your child’s name, age, a few recent natural photos, your general availability, and your preferred contact information.
