About the project: It’s 1883 in the nearly deserted town of Muleskin, Oklahoma Territory, and Matt McCoy is sitting in jail awaiting the hangman’s noose for a murder everyone knows he didn’t commit. Even Marshal Tom Stoddard believes Matt is innocent—but the law is the law, and time is running out. Enter Davey Conner, a dapper and mysterious stranger with unusual powers who may be Matt’s last chance at proving his innocence. With a shady preacher, a seductive saloon madam, bumbling cowboys, a lovestruck deputy, a former Native American chief, a town gossip, young sweethearts, unlikely heroes, and plenty of secrets, the entire town soon becomes part of the race to save Matt before Sunday morning.
