About the project: SUMMARY: This charming romantic comedy about the tangled love lives of the staff of Hammerschmidt’s Parfumerie is set just before Christmas in 1930s Budapest. George Horvath is fired when he is wrongly suspected of having an affair, with his boss’s wife, causing him to miss his first rendezvous with the woman he loves, but with whom he has only exchanged letters. Deception, misunderstanding and mistaken identity threaten to disrupt the lives of the owner and his employees, until all is happily and unexpectedly resolved.
