About the project: New York City is turned upside down at Christmas when a department store Santa claims to be the real Saint Nick. Faith itself goes on trial as authorities grapple with the true Spirit of the Season. Is Kris Kringle who he says he is? The uplifting answer will cheer the hearts of one and all. Additional info: Prior experience is not required to audition, so those without a theatrical resume may list any performing experience, such as church choirs or public speaking. Auditioners should also bring their own sheet music in the preferred key and be prepared to sing a short selection of about 16 measures. A pianist will be provided, but will not be able to transpose sheet music. Auditions with CDs will not be accepted. Those without sheet music will be asked to sing “Happy Birthday” with the accompanist. *For dramas, please prepare a dramatic monologue about one minute in length. “Miracle on 34th Street” opens Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 7:00 PM and will continue on weekends through December 27, 2026 (no performance on December 25). Performances are Fridays at 7:00 PM, Saturdays at 2:00 PM (except Opening Night) and 7:00 PM, and Sundays at 2:00 PM. In addition to the weekend performances, there will be a special weekday performance at 7:00 PM on December 17, 2026. If you are interested please apply.
