Kids Needed for "A Christmas Carol" Musical

Casting children ages 8-16 for "A Christmas Carol" Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Please bring a headshot and resume. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Children may prepare a monologue or a short speech. If they do not have this material, they may come in, and directors may just ask them to tell a little bit about themselves so they can get a sense of their stage presence, height, etc. Young performers may deliver a short monologue if they have one prepared, or simply tell a short story or joke. Directors will also teach everyone a short song to sing as part of the audition. No prepared song is necessary. WHAT TO BRING: All auditioners should bring: A current picture/headshot Resume, if available A complete list of rehearsal conflicts REHEARSAL & PRODUCTION DATES Rehearsals will take place at both Totem Pole Playhouse and the Majestic Theater in Gettysburg. Local Non-AEA, Teen & Youth Rehearsals Rehearsals begin November 10 and will primarily take place on weekday evenings and weekends through November 28. There will be no rehearsal on Thanksgiving Day, although rehearsals may be scheduled the day before and/or after Thanksgiving.
