"Miracle on 34th St" A Live Musical Radio Play Seeks Kids

About the project: Based on the beloved holiday classic, this heartwarming story follows Kris Kringle, a kind and cheerful man who claims to be the real Santa Claus after becoming a department store Santa. When his identity is questioned, a courtroom battle begins that asks everyone to consider one important question: Do you believe? This unique production brings the magic of a live radio broadcast to the stage with actors, music, sound effects and storytelling all coming together to create a memorable holiday experience. Additional info: Performance dates: Dec 3–13, 2026 Those auditioning should prepare 24–32 bars of a song from a musical. You may be asked to read from the script. Rehearsals will begin in early September (date to be announced). Rehearsal dates and times will be scheduled around availability. Typical rehearsal times will be: Sundays 5–8 pm, Tuesdays 6–8 pm, and Thursdays 6–8 pm There will be a Tech Week of rehearsals, Nov 29-Dec 2. These rehearsals will be mandatory. Performances: There will be eight (8) performances of Miracle on 34th Street: Dec. 3, 7:00 pm Dec. 4, 7:00 pm Dec. 5, 7:00 pm Dec. 6, 1:00 p.m. Dec. 10, 7:00 p.m. Dec. 11, 7:00 p.m. Dec. 12, 7:00 p.m. Dec. 13, 1:00 p.m. All performances are mandatory.
