Boys and Girls Needed for "Newsies Jr." Show

Ages 5 through 18 are welcome to audition for the "Newsies Jr." Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Auditionees are asked to prepare a 30-second to 1-minute song of their choice that showcases their vocal range. Music from the show is welcome but not required. Please bring a digital accompaniment. A Bluetooth speaker will be provided. NO ACCAPELLA AUDITIONS! Directors may ask for some vocalizations to test your range. There will be a dance audition. Please bring appropriate footwear. No flip flops or Crocs. If you tap, please bring your tap shoes. Auditionees will sing first and then dance. Be prepared to stay for an entire hour for the 2 sessions combined. Directors may ask you to read from the script. Scenes will be provided. All auditions will be recorded to aid in casting decisions. Rehearsals will be on various weekdays from 6 to 9 and occasional weekends. Show dates are December 4 and 5, 2026. YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL SHOWS. If interested, please apply.
