Seeking child performers ages 5 and up for "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" Show. Please see the details below. About the project: It is time again for the annual church Christmas Pageant. The Bradleys have two children who have always participated in the pageant. Every year it is the same; same director, same characters, same story…But not this year! The director was in an accident and cannot direct. An undesirable clan of six Herdman children shows up and wants to get involved. Craziness and conflict ensue. Acceptance and understanding are demonstrated, and in the end, the unpredictable happens. A touching moment when the true meaning of Christmas is discovered. A holiday tradition here at Barley Sheaf with an amazing cast of all ages, it really is the Best Christmas Pageant Ever! Additional info: For auditions, directors will be conducting script readings and singing some Christmas Carols. There is nothing auditioners need to prepare in advance. Rehearsals will typically be Sundays from 2 pm - 5 pm, Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 pm – 9 pm for children, and weeknights may run later for adults. Please check calendars for availability on these key dates: Including Thanksgiving weekend beginning Thursday, 11/26, and any school activities that are required, like choir or band concerts. Set Building: Sat. 11/21 9 am and 11/28 9 am (the Saturday after Thanksgiving) Tech Week begins the Sunday after Thanksgiving: Sun. 11/29 2pm, - 5pm, Mon. 11/30, Tues. 12/1, and Wed. 12/2 7 pm-10 pm (Rehearsals may run later.)
