"FUN HOME" STAGE AGE: Approximately 10-13 | VOCAL RANGE: C#4 – D5. Alison’s older brother and the eldest of the three Bechdel children. Christian is imaginative, confident, and eager to take the lead – although Alison’s strong personality sometimes overshadows him. A young performer with strong pitch and the ability to confidently sing harmony.
"FUN HOME" STAGE AGE: Approximately 7-9 | VOCAL RANGE: C#4 – E5 Alison’s energetic and playful younger brother. John has a quirky imagination, looks up to his older siblings, and brings a joyful sense of spontaneity to the Bechdel family. A lively young performer with a natural singing voice, strong pitch, good harmony skills, and confident stage presence.
"OLIVER!" STAGE AGE: Approximately 9 – 13 | VOCAL RANGE: A3 – E5 | PREFERRED HEIGHT: 4’5″/135 cm or under Oliver is a kind, intelligent, and resilient child searching for safety, family, and belonging. The role requires an expressive actor and a clear, confident singer who can carry some of the musical’s most memorable moments.
