About the project: THE POLAR EXPRESS Train Ride is a one-of-a-kind, hour-long live production performed onboard a real moving train! This magical re-creation of the beloved holiday classic is brought to life through scripted scenes, live singing, high-energy choreography, and joyful audience interaction. Passengers of THE POLAR EXPRESS™ arrive for a special moment; a moment where families can all be together to share in an experience based on a movie and book that they love, and one that has a beautiful message. Rate: $16/hr. Additional info: REHEARSALS/PERFORMANCES: Nov. 12 - Dec. 31 in Oklahoma City. Youth actors will be required to attend tech rehearsals on the train. For safety reasons, no adult or youth actors will be allowed to be in the show without attending tech rehearsal. Directors will split up the time between Hero Child actors, and they will not be expected to be there for the full day. Your child may be asked to be there during some school hours on certain tech rehearsal days, and we appreciate the effort it takes to make this happen. Again, it’s all about safety!
