This timeless musical, an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, has enchanted generations with the transformative power of the Christmas spirit. With book, music, and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse, Scrooge brings an Academy Award-nominated score to the beloved tale of a curmudgeonly miser who finds redemption and the true meaning of kindness and love. Based on the hugely popular 1970 film starring Albert Finney, Scrooge is the perfect way to kick off your holiday season. Additional info: For auditions, please prepare 16 (ballad) – 32 (up-tempo) bars in the style of the show. Songs from the show are acceptable. An accompanist will be provided. Please provide clearly marked sheet music. No recorded tracks, please. Readings will be provided. Please bring a headshot and a resume, stapled together. Callbacks will be scheduled if needed. Rehearsals begin on or around September 22, 2026, through Friday, November 13, 2026. Scrooge, which runs from November 14 to December 21, 2026. When applying, please email pictures and resumes and indicate your preference for either a Sunday (August 23, 7:00 – 10:00 pm) or Tuesday (August 25, 6:00 – 10:00 pm) audition slot.
