"A Christmas Carol" Show Needs Teens

Young performers are invited to audition for the "A Christmas Carol" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Directors will hold in-person Call Back Auditions on September 9 & 10. At which point, we’ll have those called back read from the script. Call-Back details announced September 8th. Tentative Schedule Information: First rehearsal: Week of September 21st You will rehearse 5 days a week, a schedule that will be determined after the Cast Conflicts are gathered. The Deal: Prior to Tech, directors will do their utmost to accommodate conflicts, with accurate schedule information provided by the cast. Acting Company must be 100% available during the Tech/Dress phase of rehearsal and for the run of the show. So again, think carefully about your schedule, time demands, and travel plans before committing to this project. Key Dates: Week of November 9 – Tech Week of November 16 – Dress/Open Performance Schedule: Sunday 12/6 @2:00pm (Strike following 2 pm performance) Thursday 11/19 @ 7:30 pm Friday 11/20 @ 7:30pm Saturday 11/21@7:30pm Sunday 11/22 @2:00pm (NOTE: the Sunday prior to break) [Thanksgiving Break] Wednesday 12/2; Pick up rehearsal Thursday 12/3 @ 7:30 pm Friday 12/4 @ 7:30pm Saturday 12/5 @7:30pm If interested, please send the video submission deadline is Friday, September 4th, 2026, by 10 PM (MST) Audition Video INSTRUCTIONS: -Prepare (no need to memorize) and read 60-90 seconds of A Christmas Carol, the original novella. There are several online sources for the text. A link to one will appear on the Audition Form. -Read right to the camera. -Frame your video to include your full body. -Please save your video file with your full name.
