"The Wizard of Oz" Show Needs Kids and Teens

Children in first grade and older are invited to audition for "The Wizard of Oz" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Prepare: Please prepare 16–32 bars of a song in the show's style. Bring sheet music in the correct key; an accompanist will be provided. You may also use an accompaniment track, and a Bluetooth speaker will be available. A cappella singing is discouraged. Dance: A short dance combination will be taught. Please wear or bring clothing and shoes that allow you to move comfortably. Additional Audition Material: Cold readings, vocal exercises, and/or sight-singing from the score may be included in the initial audition. Conflicts: Please bring a complete list of potential rehearsal conflicts from September 1 through November 14. All tech rehearsals and performances from November 15–22 are mandatory. Callbacks: Sunday, August 30, following the initial audition hour. Specific callback times will be assigned by role and/or dance group. Show dates: November 19–22, 2026! If interested, please apply.
