"Elf Jr. The Musical" Needs Boys and Girls

Seeking young performers to audition for "Elf Jr. The Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: VOCAL audition requirement: Please practice one of the musical cuts associated with the part you are auditioning for. These can be found by visiting the link above. Participants will be required to sing individually to the cut without vocals. Guide vocals are provided for audition preparation only. READING audition requirement: Please familiarize yourself with the character descriptions. You will be asked to do a cold reading from the script. You may be asked to read alone, with a partner, or in a small group. DANCE audition requirement: You will be taught a short dance combination in a small group at the audition. Rehearsals will begin in September and will be mostly on Friday evenings and weekend mornings. Performances will be 12/4-12/13 at The Kennett High School Loynd Auditorium. Please be sure to indicate any and all known conflicts on the audition form. While we try to accommodate as many conflicts as possible, too many missed rehearsals may affect which roles directors can cast actors in. If interested, please apply.
