Kids Needed for "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"

Looking for kids in grades 3 and up for "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: This beloved musical brings the biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers, and his extraordinary journey from dreamer to leader vividly to life. Filled with unforgettable songs, colorful characters, and plenty of humor, this family-friendly favorite celebrates faith, forgiveness, resilience, and the power of perseverance. Additional info: Please upload a video of yourself singing one minute of a song in the style of the show. You may also sing a song from the show if you desire Please use a musical accompaniment or an instrumental /karaoke track. Do not sing without music (a cappella) or over a vocal recording. If you do not wish to sing a solo in the show, you do not have to upload a video. Only actors who upload videos will be considered for solos. Rehearsals: Main Cast Rehearsals will begin on August 15 Music Intensive 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, call times will vary based on role Mondays at 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM Tuesdays at 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM Saturdays 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM Thursday Rehearsals: Added as needed at 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tech Week rehearsals on October 3 - 8 at 6:00 PM There will be a rehearsal on Sunday, October 4 Children's Chorus: The following rehearsals are mandatory and will take place at the Texas Amphitheater in Glen Rose: September 19 at 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM September 26 at 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Directors will dismiss the children's chorus as early as possible Dress Rehearsal: October 6 at 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Final Dress Rehearsal: October 8 at 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Children's chorus may be called to additional tech week rehearsals if necessary Please keep the calendar open the week of October 1 - 8 The children's chorus will have an introductory rehearsal to learn all the music. Rehearsal tracks and recordings of their parts will be sent home. Parents are responsible for ensuring that children learn and memorize the music and their parts at home. Children should have their parts memorized for the second rehearsal. Directors will have initial rehearsals for the children's chorus in Glen Rose and in Arlington. You can choose which location works best for your family.
