About the project: Logline: While helping pack away her grandmother's belongings, a young girl discovers that her grandmother has "turned into a chair". Upon realising she is the only one who sees that her grandmother lives in this chair, she has to convince her mother to bring the chair with them as they pack to move abroad indefinitely. Rate: Non union. Volunteer. Additional information: Location: Toronto/GTA. Tentative shooting dates: Sept 26-27, 2026. All characters are Shanghainese or Mandarin speaking.
