Looking for kids and teens for the stage production of "Annie." Please see the details below. About the project: The musical, based on the newspaper comic strip “Little Orphan Annie”, premiered on Broadway in 1977 and won seven Tony Awards. The bright, tuneful score by Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, with a book by Thomas Meehan, has become a part of our nation’s national heritage. “Tomorrow”, “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile”, “It’s a Hardknock Life”, “NYC”, “Little Girls”, and “Easy Street” have entertained countless Broadway, national tours, a movie version, a television remake, international productions, and community theater audiences. “Annie” delivers a message about never giving up hope and is a perfect family show. Additional info: Audition will consist of: Singing: Monday, August 17, 2026 Prepare a musical selection and bring sheet music for the Guild accompanist if not singing from the score. Reading/acting: Tuesday, August 18, 2026 Scripts are provided for reading auditions. Dance: Wednesday, August 19, 2026 Wear appropriate shoes and clothes for dance (musical theater styles), and be prompt, as combinations are taught.
