"A Colonial Christmas" Show Needs Teens
Looking for teen performers for "A Colonial Christmas" Show. Please see the details below. About the project: “A Colonial Christmas” is a comedy that combines family drama, history, and time travel. The story follows a modern family of four that has grown tired of the hassles of Christmas and lost touch with its family roots. On Christmas Eve in 1776, the family is unexpectedly transported to George Washington’s winter camp, where they encounter the Continental Army commander, other historical figures, and a long-lost ancestor. The family’s son meets Jeremy Hartley, a colonial drummer boy who teaches him about duty and heritage, while his sister, Tina, falls in love amid the chaos of Revolutionary War camp life. The production features historical characters, modern-day family members, and a series of comic anachronisms.
