Casting Teen Actor For "The Addams Family" the Musical

About the project: THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and a dilemma that's every father's nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family—a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before—keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents. Additional info: Those auditioning are asked to come prepared with a 32-measure (roughly 1 minute) cut of a song that matches the style of the show. Please be prepared to provide a backing track or a link to a backing track for your audition—no tracks with vocals will be accepted. Auditioners may also be asked to cold read from the script. Following everyone's vocal audition, each group will participate in a group dance audition. If necessary, callbacks will be Wednesday, August 26th at 6:30 p.m., by invitation only. Rehearsals: Rehearsals will begin the week of August 30th. Rehearsals will be held Sunday–Wednesday, with a couple of Thursday rehearsals closer to performances. A mandatory tech week will be held October 25th–October 29th. Performances: Will be held at Stage Door Studios the weekends of October 30th–31st and November 6th–8th.
