Looking for kids to perform in the "Annie" Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations... and even befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt! She finds a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy. Additional info: What To Prepare: -Please prepare 16 bars of a Musical Theatre song in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided. -Please be prepared to dance - you will be given an opportunity to change into comfortable clothing after your vocal audition -You will be asked to read a side from the show. These sides will be linked once you fill out your audition form. Rehearsals: In general, rehearsals will be held on Sunday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm (through October and early November), Monday through Thursday from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Not all actors are called for all rehearsals. The actual schedule will be determined once the show is cast.
