"A Murder Is Announced" Play Looking For Teens

About the project: An announcement in the local paper states the time and place when a murder is to occur in Miss Blacklock’s Victorian house. The victim is not one of the house’s several occupants, but an unexpected and unknown visitor. What follows is a classic Christie puzzle of mixed motives, concealed identities, a second death and a determined inspector grimly following the case’s twists and turns. Fortunately, Miss Marple is on hand to provide the solution – at some risk to herself – in a dramatic final confrontation. Additional info: Date: September 25 – October 11 Auditionees will be seen in order of arrival. The audition will consist of cold readings of sides. Sides to read will be provided. Bring any conflicts from the auditions until closing. Time: 7:00 pm (unless otherwise noted**) Place: Held at LTOB unless otherwise noted** Non-musical auditions consist of cold readings from the script. Monologues are not usually required, but will be accepted. For musicals, please prepare a song and dress for movement. Accompanist provided.
