Boys and Girls Needed for "Shrek the Musical"

Seeking kids and teens for "Shrek the Musical". Please see the details below. Additional info: Whether you're dreaming of playing an ogre, a princess, a fairy tale creature, or joining the ensemble, this is your chance to be part of a hilarious, heartwarming adventure filled with unforgettable characters and show-stopping music. Please prepare approximately 32 bars (about one minute) of a song in the style of the show. Directors want to see something you love to sing, and that makes you happy. Please bring clearly marked sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. Sheet music is strongly preferred, but a Bluetooth speaker will be available for tracks. You may pair with our speaker or bring your own, but proper amplification is required. Singing a capella or playing a track from a cell phone without amplification will not be accepted. Callbacks: Saturday, September 12th (by invitation) Rehearsals will tentatively begin Monday, September 21, 2026. Rehearsals will begin the week of September 21st and will meet three times a week to start, though not everyone will be called every time. Rehearsals are tentatively scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, but are subject to change based on the availability of the chosen cast.
