About the project: On the Eve of her 6th grade graduation photos, a young sudanese-canadian girl's ruined hairstyle forces her mother to reconnect her with their cultural roots, one braid at a time. Rate: Non union. Paid. Additional information: Seeking Sudanese/West Sudanese talent. Shooting dates: September 18-20, 2026. Location: Toronto, ON. Submission Deadline: August 13, 2026. For minors: parent/guardian contact information required. Selected applicants will be contacted with audition sides and self tape instructions.
