"Descendants: The Musical" Needs Boys and Girls

Actors ages 8-18 are invited to audition for "Descendants: The Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost – home of the most infamous villains who ever lived – the teenage children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil have never ventured off the island… until now. When the four troublemakers are sent to attend prep school alongside the children of beloved Disney heroes, they have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good? Additional info: No previous experience is needed to audition! The audition will consist of reading from the script and singing a short song you prepare in advance. Audition materials used in the reading portion of the audition process are attached. For the singing portion of the audition, you may choose to sing any song you like. However, we encouraged actors to sing a song from a Disney musical. Actors will sing a cappella ... without an instrumental accompaniment. Rehearsals are typically Monday through Thursday evenings, 6:30-8:30 pm, with a few Friday night rehearsals. We will also have one or two weekend rehearsals. But please note, not every actor will be called to every rehearsal. When are the performances? ​Performances will take place on October 29, 30, 31 & November 1, 2026, at THE MEDIUM located at 214 N.
