About the project: Step back into the witty world of Jane Austen with Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley, a warm, clever, and delightfully romantic sequel to Pride and Prejudice. Set two years after the novel ends, the holiday gathering at the grand Darcy estate brings together beloved characters alongside one unexpectedly charming heroine: the bookish, overlooked middle sister, Mary Bennet. Tired of living in the shadow of her siblings' whirlwind courtships, Mary finds her quiet life upended when an unexpected—and delightfully awkward—guest sparks her hopes for intellectual rivalry, independence, and true love. Penned by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon, this sparkling comedy is packed with sharp banter, festive joy, and plenty of heart, making it the ultimate holiday treat for Austen diehards and theatre lovers alike!
