Kids Wanted for “The Transcendence Tapes” Horror Series

Casting is open for volunteer actors to appear in “The Transcendence Tapes,” an independent horror anthology. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity. Participants may receive material for their portfolios and networking experience. About the project: The story explores ghosts, cryptids, gods and other supernatural and human threats hidden beneath the isolated town of Transcendence, Missouri. The project is presented through found-footage-style short films connected by an ongoing mystery. Additional info: Rehearsals and filming: September–December 2026 Location: Ozarks/Springfield and surrounding Missouri areas Most filming is expected to take place on weekends Approximately six short films are being cast during this round All experience levels are welcome. When applying, please send a self-tape of no more than five minutes.
