Additional info: Song Selection Process: Part of the spirit of The Songs is building the production around the voices, personalities, and strengths of the cast. Cast members will be invited to share song ideas and preferences as part of the creative process. Please note that song suggestions are not guaranteed to be included in the final production, and specific song assignments will be made at the discretion of Michael Wilson and Libby Prendergast. In some cases, a song suggested by one performer may be assigned to another performer, used in an ensemble arrangement, or not included in the final show. Non-singing dancers and background-singing dancers are also strongly encouraged to submit. Movement-based performers are an important part of the world of this production, and we welcome artists who bring strong stage presence, musicality, and ensemble energy. This production celebrates ensemble spirit, theatricality, and the magic of live performance.
