Seeking Kids and Teens for Two Holiday Pantos

Auditioning for two Holiday Pantos in a repertory production. Directors present 'Beauty and the Beast' for families and 'A Good Panto Die Hard' for ages 16 and up. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: All those auditioning should prepare a 1-minute monologue and be prepared to sing 16 bars of pop music. Bring a karaoke recording or sing acapella. WHAT IS A PANTO? Celebrated all over the British Isles and Ireland, the Christmas Panto follows a series of traditions that include: • a well-known fairy tale (in this case, Beauty and the Beast) or a movie like Die Hard • audience participation (“he’s right behind you!”) • song and dance (yes, these are musicals) • very local flair (this will feel like a Hapeville story) If interested, please apply.
