Looking for kids for Irving Berlin’s "White Christmas". Please see the details below. About the project: Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. With a dazzling score featuring well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean,” and the perennial title song, White Christmas is an uplifting, wholesome musical that will delight audiences of all ages. Additional info: Requirements Please prepare 16–32 bars of a Golden Age musical theatre selection or another song in a style similar to the show. Also be prepared to: Participate in cold readings from the script. Learn a brief movement combination. Vocal Audition Accompaniment: An accompanist will not be provided. Please bring a prepared accompaniment track for your vocal audition. A Bluetooth speaker will be available for playback from your phone or other compatible device. No a cappella auditions will be accepted. Dancers and Tappers: Because dance is an important part of White Christmas, auditions may also include a separate dance call featuring a tap combination. Those wishing to be considered for featured dance opportunities should come prepared to move and bring tap shoes if available.
