Kid and Teen Audition For Singing in "Bonnie and Clyde"

About the project: SYNOPSIS: At the height of the Great Depression, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow went from two small-town nobodies in West Texas to America's most renowned folk heroes and Texas law enforcement's worst nightmares. When Bonnie and Clyde meet, their mutual cravings for excitement and fame immediately set them on a mission to chase their dreams. Their bold and reckless behavior turns the young lovers' thrilling adventure into a downward spiral, putting themselves and their loved ones in trouble with the law. Forced to stay on the run, the lovers resort to robbery and murder to survive. As the infamous duo's fame grows bigger, their inevitable end draws nearer. Additional info: CALLBACKS (if needed): Callbacks will be held on Wednesday evening, August 5th, if needed to make casting decisions. WHAT TO PREPARE: Those auditioning are asked to come prepared with a 1-2-minute song cut that matches the show’s style. Please be prepared to provide a backing track or a link to one for your audition. No tracks with vocals will be accepted. An accompanist will be provided for those using sheet music. Auditioners may also be asked to cold-read from the script. Following everyone’s vocal auditions, the directors will conduct a group dance audition. Please plan to stick around after your vocal audition for this portion of the evening. REHEARSALS: Rehearsals will begin the week of August 23rd and will typically run Sunday through Thursday from 6:30-9:30 pm. Actors will be called to rehearsals only if needed. NOTE: A read-through may be scheduled before August 23rd, so please provide all conflicts beginning August 9th. PERFORMANCES: October 9th-25th, 2026 (Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM, Sundays at 2:30 PM) All auditioners under the age of 18 will be required to have parental consent due to mature themes.
