Additional info: Callbacks (by invitation only): Sunday, August 2 • 1:00–4:00 pm Not everyone invited to callbacks will be needed for the entire time. Rehearsals & Performances Rehearsals: September 17–November 19 Rehearsals will be scheduled as needed Monday through Thursday, 6:00–9:30 p.m., and Saturdays, 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Rehearsal schedules will be based on cast availability, and not all cast members will be called to every rehearsal. Tech Week begins Saturday, November 21. Cast members should avoid scheduling conflicts during Tech Week whenever possible. Please note that there will be no dress rehearsal on Thursday, November 26 (Thanksgiving Day). Performances: November 27–29 Auditions will include: - A vocal audition - A short dance audition taught at the audition - Cold readings will be required only at callbacks Vocal Audition Please prepare 32 bars (about one minute) of a Golden Age musical theater song that best showcases your voice. Bring clearly marked sheet music in the correct key for the accompanist. No accompaniment tracks or a cappella auditions. Because White Christmas features classic Broadway-style vocals, the directors encourage performers to choose songs from the 1940s through the 1960s rather than contemporary musicals. Dance Audition Everyone should wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear for movement. A short musical theater dance combination will be taught during the audition. White Christmas features several lead and ensemble roles requiring strong tap dancers. If you are interested in being considered for these roles, please bring tap shoes if you have them. Tap experience is not required for all roles. Bring a headshot and résumé if you have them (not required). Be prepared to list any known rehearsal conflicts at auditions, as conflicts submitted after casting may not be accommodated. If you are interested, please apply.

The General's granddaughter. Lovable and outgoing. A bit precocious, but wise beyond her years. Gets bitten by the stage bug and is great at it. Excellent belt voice, must move very well. She sings "Let Me Sing and I'm Happy."
We are seeking a balanced dance ensemble of 10 performers (ages 16+) with strong dance ability. Featured dancers should have excellent tap skills, strong jazz technique, and classic Broadway style, and will be featured in the show's most dance-heavy production numbers, including "Happy Holiday / Let Yourself Go," "Blue Skies," and "I Love a Piano." These performers may also appear in additional ensemble scenes. Strong tap skills are required.
Ensemble members portray Broadway performers, soldiers, train passengers, hotel guests, and Vermont townspeople while providing the rich vocals and energy that bring White Christmas to life. Opportunities for featured vocal lines and character moments are available. Dance experience is helpful but advanced tap skills are not required for the general ensemble. Strong singers who move well are encouraged to audition.
