"Les Misèrables" Show Needs Boys and Girls
Looking for young performers for the "Les Misèrables" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: You should bring a headshot or recent picture directors can keep, a resume, and a 32-bar cut of music in the style of the show. Music from Les Misérables is permitted in this audition. Please bring sheet music – the directors will have an accompanist to play for your audition. Usually, callbacks will consist of learning a dance combination (or several, depending on the needs of the show), singing selections from the show, and possibly reading for specific characters. Please bring ALL your dance shoes and wear clothes you are comfortable dancing in. Parents signing children up to audition, please be aware that this production contains strong language, depictions of violence and death, and mature themes. If interested, please apply.

Young Cosette is Fantine’s daughter and the Thénardiers’ ward. She has been forced into child labor. She is underfed, beaten by Madame Thénardier, and bullied by Eponine. Vocal range top: C5 Vocal range bottom: A3
Young Eponine is the pampered daughter of the Thénardiers. She does little except taunt Young Cosette.
Gavroche is Thénardier’s son. He is left to fend for himself and lives by his wits in the streets of Paris. Gavroche is brave, witty, and arrogant, with a fantastic, unchanged voice. Vocal range top: G5 Vocal range bottom: B3
