Seeking Teenagers for Short Stage Play "The Wyck Cove Bargain"

About the project: Auditions for ConfettiFest XXII, the 22nd iteration of the annual festival of locally written one-acts. Synopsis: The Netherlands, 1643. In a fog-choked cove, the struggling Van Der Meer family is clinging to its small fishing business and its very particular ideas about who belongs at sea. When headstrong, sea-obsessed Cordelia secretly joins a high-stakes voyage, the boat drifts into the territory of an ancient power that does not intend to be plundered quietly. Additional info: Sign-in is at 6:30 pm. Auditions begin at 7:00 pm Auditions will consist of monologues and cold readings from the scripts. Actors are asked to prepare a 1-minute monologue of their choice and are allowed to read with the script in hand, if needed. Mandatory tech week is September 26 – October 1.
