"Rock of Ages: Teen Edition" Seeks Boys and Girls

Audition for "Rock of Ages: Teen Edition". Actors age 10-18 (and still in high school at the time of auditions) are invited to audition. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Set on the legendary Sunset Strip in 1987, Rock of Ages: Teen Edition is a hilarious, feel-good musical following dreamers Sherrie and Drew as they chase stardom while fighting to save the iconic Bourbon Room. Featuring epic rock anthems and adapted especially for teen performers, this high-energy production is guaranteed to have audiences singing along! Additionla info: REHEARSALS August 24 – November 5 Monday–Thursday evenings + Sunday afternoons PERFORMANCES November 6–8 What to prepare and bring: Song: Prepare to perform 32 measures (no longer than 1 minute) of any song that highlights your voice. This should be a Broadway-type song. You should sing with karaoke-type music (no vocals) downloaded on your phone or other device. There will not be an accompanist. (Please note, no WiFi is available in our building, and cell service is spotty, so please have any music pre-downloaded.) No Monologue: No monologue is needed for this audition. Dress to dance.
