Seeking Boys and Girls for Symphony Orchestra

Girls and boys with unchanged voices entering grades 3 through 12 are invited to audition for the 2026–27 season of the Symphony Orchestra. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Those auditioning should prepare a song they enjoy singing. Participation offers far more than performance opportunities—it provides a supportive environment where singers build confidence, develop vocal technique and musicianship, and form lasting friendships with peers who share a love of music. Throughout the year, members perform fall and spring concerts, exploring a wide range of choral literature. This season also features a memorable opportunity — QAYC singers will join the Quincy Symphony Orchestra and Symphony Chorus for the Christmas Magic Family Concert on Dec. 5. Performing alongside a full orchestra and adult ensemble gives young musicians a rare chance to be part of a large-scale production—an inspiring experience that deepens their understanding of ensemble performance and brings holiday music to life in a powerful way.
